Khushnood Aftab is a prominent technology entrepreneur, industry leader and advocate for Pakistan’s digital growth. As the CEO of Viper Technology Pvt. Ltd. and Co-founder & Chairman of Viper Group, he has dedicated nearly three decades to strengthening Pakistan’s technology ecosystem through innovation, local manufacturing, digital transformation and industry development.

His entrepreneurial journey began with the founding of Viper Technology in 1995. Starting as a technology venture, the company evolved under his leadership into a recognized technology solutions provider, expanding its services from hardware manufacturing to a complete portfolio of IT solutions.

Today, Viper Group includes multiple technology-focused ventures, including Viion Technology, which specializes in custom software applications and BPO services, and TDP, which focuses on digital marketing and consultancy solutions. Through Viper Academy, the group has also invested in developing future technology talent by providing skills and learning opportunities for the next generation.

A key milestone in Khushnood Aftab’s journey has been establishing Viper as Pakistan’s Local Original Equipment Manufacturer (LOEM), contributing to the country’s technology manufacturing capabilities for more than three decades. The company has also built an international presence, expanding its reach across multiple global markets and strengthening Pakistan’s position in the technology sector.

His contributions extend beyond entrepreneurship. Khushnood Aftab has actively participated in global technology leadership through his association with Intel. He served as Vice President of the Intel Board of Advisers for three years and remained a board member for 13 years, contributing to discussions around technology strategy, innovation and industry advancement.

He has also played an important role in Pakistan’s business and technology policy landscape. As Convener of the FPCCI Central Standing Committee on Information Technology, he continues to advocate for initiatives that support technology growth, investment, digital transformation and collaboration between industry stakeholders.

A strong believer in the potential of local innovation, Khushnood Aftab actively promotes the vision of “Made in Pakistan” by encouraging indigenous technology development and helping create opportunities for Pakistani companies to compete internationally.
